Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong> has spoken publicly about avoiding charges following her recent alleged domestic violence dispute with ex Dakota Mortensen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Taking to her Instagram Stories<\/a> on Tuesday, April 14, Taylor, 31, shared a blurry photo of a vase crammed with flowers and a card featuring a butterfly image. \u201cCried after I got the decision \ud83d\ude4f THANK YOU to people who have stood with me,\u201d she captioned the snap.<\/p>\n

The post went live just hours after Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed via a press release shared by district attorney Sim Gill<\/strong>\u2019s office that Taylor is not going to be charged consequently of an alleged dispute that halted production of season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> in February. (News of the alleged altercation and filming halt broke on March 16.)<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter reviewing reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and West Jordan Police Department, the Salt Lake County District Attorney\u2019s Office has declined to file charges against Taylor Frankie Paul,\u201d the statement read. Deadline<\/em> was first to report on the news.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul has been the topic of multiple domestic violence investigations. Taylor was arrested in February 2023 after an alleged altercation with then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. She pleaded guilty to 1 count of aggravated assault as a part of a plea deal to dismiss the remaining charges. \u201cThe costs [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Us<\/em> confirmed in March via a spokesperson for Utah\u2019s Draper City Police Department that there was an open \u201cdomestic assault investigation\u201d into an alleged altercation between Taylor and Dakota, 33. Based on authorities on the time, allegations were \u201cmade in each directions,\u201d and \u201ccontact was made with involved parties on [February] twenty fourth and twenty fifth.\u201d<\/p>\n

After news of the investigation broke, footage of a 2023 altercation between the pair, who share son Ever, 2, together, was released by TMZ<\/em>. On the time, Taylor was arrested and pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. Additional charges of domestic violence within the presence of a toddler, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief were dismissed.<\/p>\n
