Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently in Australia for the primary time in eight years because the couple begin a four-day private tour.<\/p>\n

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were last Down Under in 2018, after they were still senior members of the royal family.<\/p>\n

Almost a decade on, this trip is loads different to their previous visit for a lot of reasons \u2014 most notably that it hasn\u2019t involved any royal \u2018walkabouts,\u2019 described as informal, planned strolls where British Royal Relations walk amongst crowds, shaking hands, chatting, and receiving gifts from the general public.<\/p>\n

Moderately, the couple are combining visits to charitable causes with industrial ventures, while Meghan is reportedly also attempting to expand the reach of her lifestyle brand, As Ever. <\/p>\n

And, because Harry and Meghan\u2019s visit is in a personal capability this time, it\u2019s likely the explanation they\u2019ve relaxed on the title front, too. <\/p>\n

Yesterday, the Sussexes enjoyed a tour around Melbourne, Australia\u2019s unofficial cultural capital, on the southeast coast.<\/p>\n

While visiting the Royal Children\u2019s Hospital in town, they were asked how they would love to be addressed.<\/p>\n

Harry\u2019s response was an easy shrug of the shoulders, saying \u2018Nevertheless you want,\u2019 while Meghan simply suggested: \u2018Call me Meg?\u2019<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s aide also said that \u2018Harry and Meghan is high-quality, they\u2019re pretty relaxed\u2019 when asked by hospital staff about their title preferences, The Telegraph<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

The aide added that each the Duke and Duchess \u2018love Australia, and are really excited to return,\u2019 saying that the country is sort of a home for Harry, who has \u2018spent lots of time here and is basically looking forward to meeting up with old friends.\u2019<\/p>\n

Ahead of the visit, a Change.com petition demanding that Harry and Meghan receive \u2018no taxpayer funding or official support\u2019 during their \u2018private visit to Australia\u2019 went viral, and attracted greater than 45,000 signatures. It argued that \u2018public funds shouldn’t be used for personal visits.\u2019<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the couple\u2019s office responded to the backlash, stating that the trip is indeed being privately funded. <\/p>\n

An announcement said it would think about \u2018mental health, community resilience, and support for veterans and their families, alongside private meetings and special projects.\u2019<\/p>\n

After Melbourne, they moved on to the capital, Canberra, where Prince Harry visited the Australian War Memorial with Indigenous Veterans, followed by a reception for Invictus Australia.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow, they\u2019re heading back to Melbourne for an Aboriginal walking tour, before attending the InterEdge Summit, where Harry is booked as a keynote speaker.<\/p>\n

Finally, on April 17 \u2014 their fourth and final day of the tour \u2014 the Duke and Duchess are set to sail around Sydney Harbour with Invictus Australia. They\u2019ll also attend a rugby match at Allianz Stadium.<\/p>\n

Away from their \u2018official\u2019 engagements, let\u2019s not ignore Meghan\u2019s controversial \u2018girls weekend,\u2019 dubbed \u2018Meg-stock.\u2019<\/p>\n

The previous Suits actress will likely be a headline guest speaker of podcaster Gemma O\u2019Neill\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Her Best Life\u2019 event, described because the \u2018girls\u2019 weekend like no other.\u2019<\/p>\n

The event will likely be held in Sydney on the five-star InterContinental Coogee Beach hotel from April 17 to April 19, with tickets priced at an eye-watering \u00a31,400. <\/p>\n

For VIP access, which incorporates a bunch table photograph with Meghan, it\u2019s a steeper \u00a31,670.<\/p>\n
