UFC star Conor McGregor can now put his full focus back on a return to the Octagon after the conclusion of Artem Lobov\u2019s lawsuit.<\/strong><\/p>\n The previous lightweight and featherweight champion has been inactive since 2021, when McGregor broke his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.<\/p>\n He\u2019s had his eyes on ventures away from the cage but is planning to alter that this 12 months, targeting a long-awaited UFC comeback in the summertime.<\/p>\n And with regards to dialing in on one other fight, the Irishman has eliminated one distraction.<\/p>\n ‘Notorious’ took MMA to the subsequent level at the peak of his legendary profession.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Former UFC fighter Artem Lobov rose to fame as a teammate of\u00a0McGregor\u2019s\u00a0during his journey to multi-weight success within the promotion. Their relationship is much from what it once was, and the pair have even been battling each other on the legal front lately.<\/p>\n Lobov and McGregor\u2019s feud went public when \u2018The Russian Hammer\u2019 sued \u2018The Notorious\u2019, claiming a stake in his Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey.\u00a0<\/p>\n Lobov took credit for McGregor\u2019s brand, insisting he got here up with the concept and provided key ideas and research on the matter. The Russian admitted he had turned down McGregor\u2019s $1 million offer after the corporate\u2019s success, alleging that he\u2019d been promised five percent \u201cirrespective of what\u201d by his ex-teammate.<\/p>\n Lobov sued for that share, which might have amounted to $6.5 million of the $130 million reportedly taken home by the UFC star when\u00a0McGregor sold Proper No. Twelve for $600 million.<\/p>\n The case was as a result of start on Wednesday within the High Court and was scheduled to last eight days.
