Earlier this month, in Apr. 2026, UFC Bantamweight Champion Kayla Harrison launched a fury of verbal attacks on MMA veteran and Olympic medalist Ronda Rousey. Rousey is currently gearing up for her comeback fight against Gina Carano, and her promotional tactics for the fight gained attention from Harrison on Jorge Masvidal’s Death Row MMA podcast.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Apr. 15, 2026, Rousey responded to the claims to Ariel Helwani and blasted Harrison with an array of insults<\/a>. \u201cGina [Carano] is so relevant that she’s the entire reason that the 145-pound division even exists. I’m so relevant that the one reason [Harrison] has a job on the UFC is due to me. Kayla is so irrelevant that she couldn’t even keep the 145-pound division around,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
