Arman Tsarukyan and Colby Covington appear to have been told they’ll\u2019t wrestle by the UFC \u2013 but Chad Bronstein plans to alter that.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The highest lightweight contender has been taking over all comers in a world tour of non-fighting activity that has seen him compete six times since his last octagon outing against Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar in November. He has grown exponentially as a star through appearances \u2013 in addition to some impressive wins.<\/p>\n

Now, Tsarukyan desires to tackle former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington who can be awaiting a return to fighting. And despite the undeniable fact that it’s an unattainable fight for the UFC to make attributable to weights, they look like held back from doing it in RAF Wrestling attributable to some promotional red tape.<\/p>\n

Chad Bronstein reveals plan to make Arman Tsarukyan vs Colby Covington a reality<\/h2>\n

With Arman Tsarukyan set to return this Saturday at RAF08 in Philadelphia against Urijah Faber and Colby Covington coming back on May 30 at RAF09, each men are staying energetic. They’d a transient confrontation following their co-headlining victories over Georgio Poullas and Dillon Danis last month.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, UFC bosses aren\u2019t keen on seeing matchups between energetic competitors from their roster during their outside activities. Now, RAF Wrestling boss Chad Bronstein is making the case for why this is able to be a terrific exception.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t really talked to Hunter [Campbell] about Colby and Arman yet,\u201d Bronstein told Bloody Elbow in an exclusive chat ahead of this weekend\u2019s show live to tell the tale Fox Nation. \u201cThey wish to wrestle one another and so they\u2019ve been talking about it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe thing is that Colby and Arman won’t ever fight within the UFC, ever. They\u2019re two different weight classes within the UFC and it\u2019s just not going to occur\u2026 We\u2019re not competitive to UFC, I feel it\u2019s a terrific additive approach for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bronstein also noted how easy he has found working with Tsarukyan, who’s often known as something of a \u2018bad boy\u2019 within the UFC. He expects him to be an everyday face on their shows, starting this weekend against legendary bantamweight Faber.<\/p>\n
