In what’s just essentially the most recent instance of a reality television \u2018personality\u2019 appearing to nail their hard-right colors to the wall, Sharon Osbourne has declared she might be attending an anti-immigration march organised by Tommy Robinson.<\/p>\n

This week, English Defence League cofounder Robinson posted a video by which he referred to the May 16 protest as being a moment when \u2018Britain rises and reunites\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Osbourne, who splits her time between England and California, after immigrating to the US with husband Ozzy Osbourne over 20 years ago, commented on the post, \u2018See you on the march\u2019.<\/p>\n

The response has been just as polarised as you\u2019d expect \u2013 but there was one response that I might have loved to give you the option to witness firsthand that of Belfast rappers Kneecap, who must feel vindicated after their spat with Osbourne last yr.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Because Osbourne\u2019s attendance at Robinson\u2019s march will prove that she\u2019s despicable, and that Kneecap were right about her all along.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Within the wake of their 2025 Coachella appearance, which ended with images including \u2018F*** Israel\u2019 and \u2018Free Palestine\u2019, Osbourne publicly called for the Belfast rap-group\u2019s visas to be revoked, claiming their performance included \u2018projections of anti-Israel messages and hate speech\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n

No strangers to controversy, Kneecap didn’t feel pressure to capitulate, replying: \u2018[Osbourne\u2019s] rant has so many holes in it that it hardly warrants a reply but she should hearken to War Pigs that was written by Black Sabbath (the band made famous by her husband).\u2019<\/p>\n

Osbourne then went on Piers Morgan Uncensored, a YouTube show that appears like it\u2019s created for individuals who think Britain lives under Sharia Law, and called the band \u2018these little people\u2019 and said in reference to their manager, \u2018there\u2019s not much [in his head]\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She said Kneecap shouldn\u2019t \u2018incite violence\u2019 in front of \u2018young people\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Osbourne went on also called them \u2018uneducated\u2019, saying \u2018their whole attitude is one among anger,\u2019 and suggested that the band should emulate U2\u2019s Bono within the peaceful spreading of a political message \u2013 which is precisely the form of reference you\u2019d expect from someone who\u2019s not had an original thought for the reason that 80s.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With such high standards for the intellect of others and an apparent commitment to rampant optimism and peace, I fear Osbourne could also be disillusioned by the gang she might be surrounded with at this upcoming march in London.<\/p>\n

Given the horror at hate-speech she so vehemently expressed on Morgan\u2019s show, it\u2019s somewhat confounding that she\u2019s chosen to align herself with Tommy Robinson.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Robinson, lest any of us forget, was permanently banned from Facebook and Instagram in 2019 for repeatedly breaking their hate-speech policies.<\/p>\n

Meta cited breaches including a post calling on people to terrorise and behead those that follow the Qur\u2019an, one other calling on people to \u2018make war\u2019 on Muslims, participating in events with recognised hate figures or groups just like the US-based Proud Boys, and publicly praising them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Similarly, despite her supposed opposition to inciting violence, Osbourne stands proudly with Robinson who has multiple convictions for offences including assault, using a fake passport, mortgage fraud and contempt of court.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All this to say that Sharon Osbourne is a hypocrite.<\/p>\n

And I don\u2019t think her issue with Kneecap was about violence and the apparent aggression of the way in which they decide to spread a political statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think she genuinely believes that chanting \u2018Free Palestine\u2019 would result in the immediate radicalisation of any young person in earshot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was never about how the message was being conveyed. It was that they were conveying it in any respect in the primary place.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sharon Osbourne simply didn’t like what Kneecap needed to say.<\/p>\n

Osbourne isn\u2019t willing to contemplate anything which may challenge her beliefs, and has used her social media platform to minimise reports of starvation in Gaza.<\/p>\n

You\u2019d sooner have a civilised, constructive debate with a brick wall.<\/p>\n

So Sharon Osbourne will attend Tommy Robinson\u2019s march. She and a band of merry idiots will\u00a0apparently \u2018bring London to a standstill\u2019 in a march that rallies against the fabricated antagonists that the hard-right so likes to demonise.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t seem to be Osbourne is that preoccupied with reality, so we will only assume she’s going to don’t have any qualms about that.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But when she thinks we\u2019re falling for her act, she\u2019s mistaken.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kneecap have been on the hard fringe of Osbourne\u2019s rants, and her ignorance has only been further exposed.<\/p>\n

And he or she wasn\u2019t the one person pursuing the group, it gave the impression of the British state was mobilised against them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One member of the band Liam \u00d3g \u00d3 hAnnaidh, often known as Mo Chara, was accused and brought to court for alleged support for proscribed organisation, when it was thrown out of court, the British government wasted more taxpayers money attempting to appeal. They lost that too.<\/p>\n

With experience comes patience, and it only took a yr for Kneecap to be unequivocally\u00a0 proved right about Sharon Osbourne and the British state.<\/p>\n

Individuals who bully others for his or her beliefs are deeply insecure, and are frequently hiding something else. Osbourne has shown the world who she is.<\/p>\n

And when she turns as much as Tommy Robinson\u2019s march, she\u2019ll discover the true face of the hard right in Britain.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She may not prefer it.<\/p>\n
