Boston Blue<\/em> is about to face the wrath of Blue Bloods usweekly<\/a>\u00a0fans after breaking up a beloved couple.<\/p>\n

Throughout the Friday, April 17, episode of the CBS series, Danny Reagan\u2019s (Donnie Wahlberg<\/strong>) girlfriend, Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez<\/strong>), returned to assist with a case. Their dynamic, nonetheless, was off and Maria later revealed that she was scuffling with her mother\u2019s deteriorating mental health after a Parkinson\u2019s diagnosis. She surprised Danny \u2014 and viewers \u2014 by hitting pause on their relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s in a crisis. She\u2019s undecided what to do,\u201d Wahlberg, 56, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> at CBS Fest on Wednesday, April 15. \u201cDanny may be very stubborn [though so] he ain\u2019t taking place with out a fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wahlberg, who has played Danny since 2010, urged fans not to fret an excessive amount of yet, adding, \u201cThey have to hold out hope for [them to] rekindle [their romance].\u201d Wahlberg\u2019s onscreen costar \u2014 and Danny\u2019s partner \u2014 Sonequa Martin-Green weighed in on the twist.<\/p>\n

In line with Wahlberg, there may be a plan to \u201cstretch\u201d out the journey for Danny and Maria.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere within the episode, Sarah\u2019s (Maggie Lawson<\/strong>) personal life was way more successful with Seth (Mike Vogel<\/strong>) popping the query moments before Danny and Maria\u2019s split.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne in all the things I like most about our show is that\u2019s life,\u201d Lawson, 45, noted. \u201cThat\u2019s human and that\u2019s real. Sometimes when these beautiful celebrations occur, it\u2019s a reminder of other painful things that folks are going through and it may be a catalyst for something not really easy.\u201d<\/p>\n
