MANILA, Philippines\u2013Barangay Ginebra cruised to its third straight win and moved as much as a share of third place within the PBA Commissioner\u2019s Cup after defeating skidding Terrafirma, 111-103, at Ynares Center Montalban in Rodriguez, Rizal.<\/p>\n
Justin Brownlee, RJ Abarrientos and Stephen Holt led a torrid showing just about all throughout because the Gin Kings made their first trip to the faraway Rizal town a worthy one and improved to a 5-2 win-loss slate.<\/p>\n
Ginebra is tied with idle Meralco and TNT, which within the curtain raiser defeated Titan Ultra.<\/p>\n
Brownlee topscored with 28 points, spiked by five triples, while Abarrientos and Holt combined for seven threes to attain 17 apiece for Ginebra.<\/p>\n
In dominating Terrafirma, which was not reflective of the ultimate rating, Ginebra shot 18 three-pointers.<\/p>\n
The venue was almost filled to capability because the fan favorites appeared for the primary time in Rodriguez. They were speculated to play last November during a Philippine Cup game against Titan Ultra but was postponed resulting from Typhoon Uwan.<\/p>\n
Abarrientos had in the primary quarter before Brownlee unloaded 16 within the second that put Ginebra on top of things despite Terrafirma closing in at 56-50 at intermission.<\/p>\n
It was Holt\u2019s turn to ignite, hitting 12 within the third because the Gin Kings were in a position to stretch the gap to a high of 27.<\/p>\n
Jerrick Ahanmisi scored 27 but Terrafirma fell to 3-5 with a fifth straight defeat as its woes continued after a dream begin to the conference.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
