Rosie O\u2019Donnell <\/b>has addressed previously supporting politician Eric Swalwell <\/b>before his sexual misconduct scandal got here to light.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou’ll be able to\u2019t help but feel the entire chaos of the country once you\u2019re there, like, you may\u2019t help but feel it,\u201d O\u2019Donnell, 64, said in a recent TikTok<\/span><\/a> video about her recent trip across the pond from Ireland to go to family. \u201cCan we talk for a bit bit about Eric Swalwell? I do know that guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell further revealed that she had previously spoken with Swalwall, 45, \u201con the phone a pair times\u201d and sure donated money to his campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I] talked about him in some public appearances years ago about how I believed in him and his cute little family,\u201d the actress recalled. \u201c[I spoke about him] standing as much as all those people when he berates them for his or her moral-less behavior, after which all this comes out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tNancy Pelosi, Hakeem Jeffries and more distinguished Democrats are reacting to claims Eric Swalwell, a Democratic congressman representing California\u2019s 14th congressional district, sexually assaulted and harassed multiple women. \u201cThis extremely sensitive matter have to be appropriately investigated with full transparency and accountability,\u201d Pelosi said in a press release in response to the allegations. \u201cAs I discussed with [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

News broke earlier in April that multiple women, including one in all Swalwell\u2019s former staffers, accused the disgraced congressman<\/span> of sexual misconduct and harassment. He vehemently denied the accusations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese allegations are false and are available on the eve of an election against the frontrunner for governor,\u201d Swalwell said in a press release<\/span>. \u201cFor nearly 20 years, I even have served the general public \u2014 as a prosecutor and a congressman and have at all times protected women.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI don’t suggest to you in any way that I’m perfect or that I\u2019m a saint. I even have actually made mistakes in judgment in my past. Those mistakes are between me and my wife. And to her, I apologize deeply for putting her on this position.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swalwall has been married to Brittany Watts<\/b><\/span>, with whom he shares three children, since 2016. While Watts has not publicly addressed the scandal, Swalwall has since resigned from his position<\/span> within the U.S. Congress and suspended his campaign for California governor.<\/p>\n

As for O\u2019Donnell, she found the scandal to be \u201cheartbreaking.\u201d<\/p>\n
