Gayle King<\/strong> is throwing her support behind Savannah Guthrie<\/strong><\/a> and her Today<\/em> show comeback because the investigation surrounding her mother Nancy\u2019s<\/strong> disappearance continues.<\/p>\n

Talking to Us Weekly<\/em> on the Breakthrough Prize event in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 18, King, 71, said she was completely happy to see Savannah back on air despite the difficult circumstances she\u2019s facing.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, we\u2019re just glad Savannah\u2019s back, but in fact, our hearts are still aching and still breaking,\u201d King told Us<\/em>. She added, \u201cThere aren’t any words to explain what she\u2019s going through.\u201d<\/p>\n

The CBS Mornings<\/em> presenter also urged anyone with details about what happened to Nancy to return forward.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGayle King struggled to carry back tears as she addressed the news surrounding Today host Savannah Guthrie, whose mother, Nancy Guthrie, has gone missing. \u201cWe\u2019re starting things a little bit in another way this morning because such as you, we\u2019re all waking up this morning with very heavy hearts [and] praying for our friend and our colleague, Savannah Guthrie,\u201d [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019m still hoping that someone will do the suitable thing,\u201d King continued. \u201cAny person, someone on the market knows something, and it\u2019s shocking to me after seeing Savannah open up her heart, after taking a look at the video that all of us saw, and after the million dollars reward that there has not been some resolution on this case.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cSo I’m just here wishing her well and cheering. I\u2019m glad that she\u2019s back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savannah, 54,\u00a0 returned to Today<\/em> on April 6 after two months away coping with the disappearance of her mother Nancy, who was reported missing in Arizona on February 1.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood morning, welcome to Today<\/em> on this Monday morning. We’re so glad you began your week with us, and it is nice to be home,\u201d she told viewers during her first episode back.<\/p>\n

Savannah took a step back from the show on the time, traveling from Latest York to Arizona amid the police investigation into her mother\u2019s disappearance. During Savannah\u2019s absence from Today<\/em>, Hoda Kotb<\/strong> filled in for her.<\/p>\n

Savannah and her siblings Annie Guthrie<\/strong> and Camron Guthrie<\/strong> have pleaded for the general public\u2019s help find their mother since she disappeared, offering a $1 million reward for information resulting in her recovery.<\/p>\n
