Fans may already know Sagar Parekh from his many roles on screen, but his time on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa showed a side of him that fans hadn\u2019t seen before. Every week, he didn\u2019t just perform; he pushed himself, and that effort showed in his dance performances on stage. During an exclusive interaction with Bollywood Bubble, the actor opened up about how dance impacted and adjusted his life. Read on to know all he shared. <\/p>\n
Talking about what dance added to his life, Sagar said it wasn\u2019t nearly learning steps. \u201cIt revealed a distinct layer of me that I hadn\u2019t fully tapped into before,\u201d <\/em>he shared. As someone who comes from an acting background, he was used to expressing emotions through dialogue. Dance, nonetheless, modified that for him. \u201cIt made me communicate without words,\u201d <\/em>he explained, adding that it helped him trust his instincts greater than before.<\/p>\n Sagar admitted that this shift also modified the way in which he approached his craft. Earlier, he would spend quite a lot of time pondering through every detail, but that slowly modified. \u201cI ended overthinking and began feeling more,\u201d<\/em> he said. In line with him, that has been certainly one of the largest takeaways from the show.<\/p>\n However the journey was removed from easy. Sagar spoke truthfully about how physically demanding it got at times. \u201cThere have been days when it felt an excessive amount of,\u201d <\/em>he said. He remembered coping with constant pain, especially through the initial phase. \u201cMy feet were in really bad condition, my knees had given up, and I used to be still rehearsing,\u201d<\/em> he recalled. Despite that, he continued showing up daily.<\/p>\n His schedule was equally hectic. Shooting commitments through the day and dance rehearsals at night left him with barely any time to rest. \u201cI used to practice till 3 within the morning sometimes,\u201d <\/em>he said, adding that even the crew would ask him to call it a day.<\/p>\n In the midst of all this, Sagar says he learned something that can stick with him for a very long time \u2013 how one can keep going even when things get overwhelming.
