Actor Gaurav Gera has spoken about his experience of working with Ranveer Singh in Dhurandhar: The Revenge<\/em>, highlighting the latter\u2019s approach to performance and presence on set.<\/p>\n Gaurav Gera praises Ranveer Singh\u2019s discipline and on-set involvement in Dhurandhar: The Revenge<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In a recent interaction with India Today, Gera described Ranveer as someone deeply invested in his work. \u201cRanveer is a superstar for a reason, he’s so good at what he does. He\u2019s extremely organised and fully immersed within the character. He takes a keen interest,\u201d he said, pointing to the actor\u2019s focused preparation.<\/p>\n He also spoke about Ranveer\u2019s involvement during scenes, even when he wasn\u2019t required to be actively present. \u201cHe didn\u2019t need to be there for cues in my scenes, which frequently happens on shoots. But he stayed back and remained present throughout. That\u2019s just how he’s\u2014completely involved with the film,\u201d Gera added.<\/p>\n Recalling a lighter moment, Gera mentioned their earlier \u2018Chutki-shopkeeper\u2019 act that recently resurfaced online amid the film\u2019s buzz. He shared that Ranveer immediately recognised him on set. \u201cHe tapped my shoulder and said, \u2018How are you, Chutki?\u2019 I used to be surprised because I had a beard and looked quite different, but he still remembered,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Gera also noted a shift in Ranveer\u2019s on-screen approach over time, especially while playing Hamza within the film. \u201cHe\u2019s grown quite a bit as an actor. There\u2019s a certain calmness in his performance here, which could be very different from how people normally see him in public. That controlled energy comes across very strongly,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n Summing up, Gera described Ranveer as someone who can balance contrasting energies with ease, each on and off screen.
