Nicky Butt has named his two \u2018dream\u2019 Manchester United signings and urged the Red Devils to interchange \u00a374m striker Benjamin Sesko.<\/p>\n

Sesko endured a difficult begin to his Old Trafford profession following last summer\u2019s move from RB Leipzig, scoring just twice within the first-half of the season.<\/p>\n

However the Slovenia international has look much-improved since Ruben Amorim\u2019s sacking in January, netting eight goals in his last 13 games.<\/p>\n

Butt believes Sesko will \u2018do okay\u2019 for Manchester United but doubts he’s the reply for the club long-term, viewing him more as a \u2018support act\u2019.<\/p>\n

Because of this Butt has named prolific striker Erling Haaland as considered one of two \u2018dream\u2019 signings for his former club ahead of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

Asked which Premier League players he would love Manchester United to sign, Butt said on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast<\/a>: \u2018I\u00a0can\u2019t\u00a0imagine\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0saying this but Erling Haaland.<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s\u00a0just all the time a goal\u00a0threat,\u00a0he can do nothing for 89 minutes\u00a0after which pop up and rating a goal.<\/p>\n

\u2018 United\u2019s centre forwards, I believe Sesko can be\u00a0alright\u00a0but\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0not enough for United. I believe he’ll do okay and is a great support act but\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0the one out and out forward there.<\/p>\n

\u2018If I could have\u00a0two\u00a0I’d have a midfielder as well and go together with Declan Rice.<\/p>\n

\u2018I remember talking about Rice when Scott McTominay was still here and I said when you had Rice and McTominay, with Bruno ahead of them, then\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0your ultimate midfield.<\/p>\n

\u2018That was the form of goal United must have been taking a look at because\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0still huge commercially and might afford to pay big wages.<\/p>\n

\u2018That\u2019s\u00a0what they need to have been\u00a0taking a look at and pondering out of the box.<\/p>\n

\u2018When you look back on the heyday of Man United and even the backend of Fergie\u2019s reign, United would all the time\u00a0go and get\u00a0the perfect player within the Premier League.\u2019<\/p>\n

Ex-Manchester United striker Michael Owen has also advised the Red Devils to \u2018upgrade\u2019 Sesko in the summertime as he’s \u2018not the reply\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Yes,\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0doing higher.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0great to see because\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0not nice to\u00a0see anybody struggling.\u00a0That being said, I\u00a0think\u00a0there\u2019s\u00a0an upgrade in there somewhere along the road in the subsequent 12 months or two or every time someone comes available.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s\u00a0great now that he might be an influence on the team and the squad and rating essential goals. But\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0not saying, \u201coh yeah, the whole lot\u2019s great now and he\u2019s now going to shoot them to the league title\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s improved them, he\u2019s confident again and he\u2019s an asset to the team unexpectedly, but there\u2019s still a protracted approach to go.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Sesko has largely impressed for the reason that turn of the Recent 12 months, the 22-year-old has did not rating in his last three games.<\/p>\n

Amorim\u2019s big-money signing will hope to return to winning ways on Monday night when Manchester United face Brentford.<\/p>\n
