Donald Trump has pleaded with Iran to release eight women who’re set to be executed after anti-regime protests.<\/p>\n

Taking to Truth Social, he wrote: \u2018To the Iranian leaders, who will soon be in negotiations with my representatives: I’d greatly appreciate the discharge of those women. <\/p>\n

\u2018I’m sure that they are going to respect the incontrovertible fact that you probably did so. Please do them no harm! Can be a terrific begin to our negotiations!!!\u2019<\/p>\n

Not all the women within the photo have been identified, but one is confirmed to be Bita Hemmati, a protester who was arrested after campaigning against the federal government in January.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s accused of using explosives and weapons, throwing objects, participating in protests and \u2018disrupting national security.<\/p>\n

Diana Taherabadi, 16, can be featured within the photo. She was detained in February for collaborating in protests.<\/p>\n

Mahboudeh Shabani, 33, and Ensieh Nejati are also featured. All the women within the photo are facing death by hanging for his or her part in anti-regime protests.<\/p>\n

Trump has signalled that sparing the ladies from death could aid Iran in upcoming peace talks, that are reaching the eleventh hour before his ceasefire \u2018deadline\u2019 of 8pm Washington time tomorrow.<\/p>\n

However the fate of those arrested in Iran in January and February\u2019s anti-regime protests is hanging within the balance.<\/p>\n

Previously, a shopkeeper who was getting ready to being executed in\u00a0Iran\u00a0for his role within the anti-regime protests was released on bail after Trump threatened to attack the country.<\/p>\n

Erfan Soltani, 26,\u00a0faced the death penalty\u00a0after being detained during mass protests in January.<\/p>\n

Iranian authorities\u00a0appeared to make a U-turn\u00a0after the President threatened to\u00a0strike\u00a0the country in the event that they executed prisoners, but this was before the war began.<\/p>\n

Last-minute talks\u00a0between the US and\u00a0Iran\u00a0are looking increasingly uncertain, as each countries warned that with no deal, they were prepared to resume fighting.<\/p>\n

U.S. Vice President JD Vance, expected to guide US negotiators if\u00a0talks\u00a0proceed in Pakistan, remained in Washington on Tuesday, a White House official said.<\/p>\n

And Pakistan, which has been urging either side to return to Islamabad, said it was still awaiting confirmation on whether\u00a0Iran\u00a0would participate.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, Trump\u00a0said he’s able to renew attacks against\u00a0Iran\u00a0if progress is just not made with the US military \u2018raring to go\u2019.<\/p>\n

The American president also told CNBC he didn’t wish to extend a ceasefire with Tehran because the deadline on the two-week truce looms.<\/p>\n

He insisted the US was in a powerful position and was \u2018going to find yourself with a terrific deal\u2019.<\/p>\n
