Vikram Bhatt struck gold with Haunted 3D<\/em> (2011). It\u2019s a movie that kick-started the 3D trend in Bollywood and have become a sleeper hit on the box office. Hence, there are high expectations for the following film on this franchise, which is ready to release on June 12. Interestingly, the film was earlier titled Haunted \u2013 Ghosts Of The Past<\/em>. As per the motion poster that dropped yesterday to announce the discharge date, the film was renamed to Haunted \u2013 Echoes Of The Past<\/em>. Bollywood Hungama<\/strong> exclusively spoke to director Vikram Bhatt about this aspect. This was probably the director\u2019s first interaction with the media after he faced a serious personal turmoil in his life.<\/p>\n

Vikram Bhatt told Bollywood Hungama<\/strong>, \u201cThe Haunted<\/em> movies are usually not nearly ghosts. At its heart, it\u2019s a poignant love story. Meanwhile, the film was getting delayed for some reason or one other and likewise, I needed to face incarceration. A really close friend of mine said that this might be happening on account of the word \u2018Ghost\u2019 within the title. He told me, \u2018Title mein se Ghost ko hata<\/em> do\u2019<\/em>. I told him, \u2018Theek hai. Hata dete hai<\/em> (smiles)\u2019. That\u2019s how we got here up with Echoes Of The Past<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
He further remarked, \u201cI never believed in such things until now. Also, you may\u2019t make a ghost film without believing in superstition (laughs).\u201d<\/p>\n
The usage of AI within the motion poster was criticized by a bit of the audience. Vikram Bhatt clarified, \u201cThat is how motion posters are designed. But I can assure you that there\u2019s absolutely no AI within the film in any respect.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lastly, when asked when the teaser of Haunted \u2013 Echoes Of The Past<\/em> will probably be out, he revealed, \u201cWe plan to release it this month itself.\u201d<\/p>\n
Like Haunted<\/em>, Haunted \u2013 Echoes Of The Past<\/em> also stars Mimoh Chakraborty and this time, he\u2019s joined by Chetna Pande, Shruti Prakash, Gaurav Bajpai, Praneet Bhatt and Hemant Pandey. It’s produced by Anand Pandit and Rakesh Juneja and will probably be distributed worldwide by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures.<\/p>\n
