Patrick Muldoon<\/strong>\u2018s death left his former co-stars, friends, family and fans heartbroken. The late Melrose Place<\/em> star, 57, died following a heart attack at his Beverly Hills, California, home on April 19, 2026. He was along with his girlfriend, Miriam Rothbart<\/strong>, and she or he called paramedics, but they couldn\u2019t revive the actor. As everyone grappled with the news, several of Patrick\u2019s former colleagues paid tribute to him, including his former girlfriend and longtime friend Denise Richards<\/strong>. The ex-couple, who dated on and off within the late Nineteen Nineties, worked together on Starship Troopers,<\/em> nevertheless of their 2026 film, Dirty Hands<\/em>.<\/p>\nBelow, read the tributes for Patrick from his former co-stars and friends.<\/p>\n
Denise Richards<\/h2>\n \u201cThat is so hard for me to place into words,\u201d Denise captioned an emotional Instagram video. \u201cI’m deeply heartbroken & devastated losing you. You were my best friend & my family. We met in our first acting class, I used to be 19 never had an acting job and also you were 21 a student at USC doing a recurring role on who\u2019s the boss. And here we’re. 36 years later. My whole adult life & I don\u2019t realize it without you.\u201d<\/p>\n
She went on to notice that their \u201cfriendship, love, support, respect & loyalty we had was unconditional and rare.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou lit up every room you walked into,\u201d Denise went on. \u201cYou might be larger than life & Everyone was drawn to you. So talented & most underrated actor. And most humble. Every thing you probably did was infectious. Your laugh, your kindness, your wit, your strength, your loyalty, your passion, and your zest for all times. We\u2019ve been one another\u2019s rock. Our memories together are countless. You\u2019ve had my back and guarded me greater than anyone. I don\u2019t know what I\u2019m going to do without you here. You\u2019re my voice of reason & pillar of strength. Especially during this last 12 months of pain & heartache. And now I want you greater than ever, for this pain and heartache losing you. Schweetbabe we\u2019ve had those conversations.. We thought we\u2019d live eternally or no less than into our 90\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n

Which thankfully wasn\u2019t a blind date in any respect because we were each on a television series,\u201d Tori wrote. \u201cLike every other girl on this planet I crushed on his character Austin from Days of Our Lives. Unsure I ever disclosed that to him. What I met and ultimately fell in love w\/ was not only a good looking on the surface creature but probably the most beautiful soul . He was special and one in every of a sort. The kindest most caring human w\/ raddest weird humorousness. We got one another! Laughed so much ! I laughed w\/him and at him and he loved it. Was multi talented. Enthusiastic about every part he did. And, he had a knack for making others smile & brought absolute joy to everyone that was blessed to be in his orbit. A real gift.\u201d<\/p>\n
Adding that they \u201cshared a love of Broncos, guitars, goofing off, playing tag, and Grease!\u201d Tori added that Patrick was \u201can enormous a part of [her] formative 20\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe went on to be good friends! Still laughing & at all times caring,\u201d she went on. \u201cMany years later I discovered him to be such a real friend\/hype man once I was going thru my divorce. He would call and check on me and send me the worst jokes to make me laugh. He loved once I rolled my eyes. Now I miss those silly jokes. I last saw him past summer. Finally met his soulmate @miriamrothbart . He said we’d get along & I immediately got it! She was his perfect balance. He was just having his moment. His element. Found true love, acting & producing became his \u2018jam\u2019 as he would say. Crushing it! Don\u2019t consider in regrets but regret not setting that dinner w\/him & Miriam after that. Life is brief.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lola Sheen (Denise Richards\u2019 Daughter)<\/h2>\n\n<\/blockquote>\nLola, the daughter of Denise, admitted in her Instagram post that she \u201cat all times begged [her] mom i\u2019m sure she told you that you just guys would find yourself back together haha, but i assume staying best friends was higher anyhow.\u201d<\/p>\n
