Discovery as a case study in one in every of his classes, says that the method has been \u201cunusual\u201d for each WBD and Paramount Skydance. WBD shareholders will get the prospect to vote April 23 on whether to support the deal. It\u2019s been a protracted road for the corporate since sale rumors picked up steam last summer. It\u2019s also unusual for the pursuer, the acquirer Paramount Skydance, to be so persistent. I mean, you\u2019ve got to present David Ellison credit for. He\u2019s the guy who gets turned down by a lady 23 times. And he asks the twenty fourth time and she or he says, \u2018OK, I\u2019ll exit with you.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe jockeying around WBD, the tug of war between Netflix and Paramount Skydance over the deal reflects so many crosscurrents which can be roiling the standard entertainment business.
