4 persons are in a critical condition after two trains collided head-on in Demark.<\/p>\n

Not less than 17 persons are injured after the 2 local trains crashed 25 miles (40km) north of Copenhagen.<\/p>\n

Pictures from the scene show two yellow and gray trains smashed up on the a track the \u200ctowns of Hillerod and \u200cKagerup.<\/p>\n

The collision prompted an enormous emergency response and has been called a significant incident by police.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the rescue services said: \u2018There are injuries among the many passengers. Everyone seems to be out of the trains, so nobody is trapped\u2026 Large resources \u200chave been dispatched to the scene.\u2019<\/p>\n

The injured have been transported away from the scene in ambulances and hospitals, the fireplace department said.<\/p>\n
