Until around two-and-a-half years ago, making a movie with a runtime of over three hours was largely frowned upon. But that perception modified with Animal<\/em> (2023). The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer was 203 minutes long and yet was accepted with open arms by the audience. Then got here Pushpa 2 \u2013 The Rule<\/em> (2024), which had a runtime of 200 minutes. Bollywood Hungama<\/strong> has exclusively learned that the historical drama accomplished its censor process yesterday, on April 24. As per the censor certificate, Raja Shivaji<\/em>\u2019s Marathi version is 195.05 minutes long. In other words, it has a duration of three hours, quarter-hour and 5 seconds. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the film with a U\/A 16+ certificate.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, the film needed to undergo a number of modifications as per the recommendation of the Examining Committee (EC) of the CBFC. The makers had to switch the disclaimer with more clarity and stronger words together with a voiceover. Additionally they had so as to add a clarification for choosing the title \u2018Raja Shivaji\u2019 for the film. The makers were also asked to submit proper documents for all of the historical references utilized in the film and in addition submit a correct script as per the film’s dialogues and songs.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the CBFC instructed the producers so as to add specific dates for all key events within the film and in addition insert text slates for historical events.<\/p>\n
