Arsenal have suffered an enormous double injury scare of their battle for the Premier League title with Kai Havertz and Eberechi Eze each forced off against Newcastle United.<\/p>\n

Eze eased nerves across the Emirates with a goal after just nine minutes on Saturday evening, finding the highest corner with an exquisite strike from just outside the box.<\/p>\n

Havertz, preferred to Viktor Gyokeres up front against Manchester City last week, kept his place within the side and was involved within the build-up for the opener.<\/p>\n

However the Germany international\u2019s evening got here to an early end when he was forced off after 34 minutes.<\/p>\n

The previous Chelsea star seemed to be clutching his groin area as he left the pitch, heading straight down the tunnel for treatment.<\/p>\n

Gyokeres was brought onto replace him. <\/p>\n

As Arsenal looked to construct on their lead within the second-half, Eze was also seen struggling. <\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta made the choice to make the change with Gabriel Martinelli onto replace him.<\/p>\n

Eze took his place on the bench relatively than heading straight down the tunnel like Havertz.<\/p>\n

Arteta is anticipated to supply an update on the pair later this evening.<\/p>\n
