Tom Aspinall commits himself to the UFC<\/h2>\n

Tom Aspinall was asked about potentially moving into boxing during a recent trip to Croatia. <\/p>\n

The 33-year-old added former WBA light heavyweight champion Stipe Drvi\u0161 to his team last yr.<\/p>\n

Aspinall insists the 32-2 ring legend\u2019s task is to assist him achieve more in MMA. <\/p>\n

\u201cPerhaps,\u201d he said when asked if Drvi\u0161 could help him transition to boxing. <\/p>\n

\u201cTo be honest, I ain\u2019t serious about boxing that much at once. <\/p>\n

\u201cNo. I\u2019ve got more stuff to do with the UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tom Aspinall injury update<\/h2>\n

Tom Aspinall has been sidelined since being poked in each eyes by Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 in October 2025. <\/p>\n

The heavyweight knockout artist underwent double eye surgery after his first title defense resulted in a no-contest. <\/p>\n

Aspinall has excited fans by sharing footage of him back within the gym ahead of his eagerly anticipated comeback. <\/p>\n

Nevertheless, he’s \u201cnot back training fully yet\u201d, so an interim heavyweight title has been created. <\/p>\n

All being well, Aspinall should unify the division by facing the winner of Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane, which can co-main event the UFC White House card on June 14. <\/p>\n
