Jiri Prochazka desires to put his recent saga behind him, and he has two opponents in mind to get back on course. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Jiri Prochazka suffered a brutal loss within the UFC 327 major event when he was knocked out by Carlos Ulberg in the primary round of their vacant light heavyweight title fight.<\/p>\n

Prochazka caused quite loads of controversy immediately after the fight when he claimed he took mercy on Ulberg after \u2018Black Jag\u2019 tore his ACL midway through the round, causing him to hobble on one leg.<\/p>\n

The previous champion\u2019s comments in fact didn\u2019t sit well with Ulberg who labeled Prochazka a \u2018pretender\u2019 for his Samurai spirit.<\/p>\n

Prochazka targeting Paulo Costa or Magomed Ankalaev for October return<\/h2>\n

Now over a couple of weeks faraway from his disappointing display in Miami, the 33-year-old has dismissed the brand new champion\u2019s comments, calling him a \u2018stripper\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou understand, I don\u2019t wish to hear this bulls\u2014 from a stripper,\u201d Prochazka said during the Ariel Helwani Show<\/a> this Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

\u201cI consider that within the cage, the fighters, we’re probably the most rare people on the planet and does anyone think that I prepared my words after the fight to inform the group \u2018I used to be so merciful\u2019. To start with, I didn\u2019t say that because Joe Rogan said to me \u2018mercy\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was not in regards to the mercy but I just saw him and he was hurt after which I just didn\u2019t accept the scenario of the fight, that it may very well be a simple fight since the only thing I do know is tough work.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongrats, he’s the champion, really, he caught me I accept that, but all this stuff that Ulberg said, man, perhaps I\u2019m too old to play something, I\u2019m too old, I would like to be real, that was bulls\u2014 what he said\u2026 I lost, I accept, let\u2019s return.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fortunately for the UFC fans, Prochazka is trying to put this whole saga behind him and he’s already targeting his potential return to the cage.<\/p>\n

Making his light heavyweight debut on his undercard was Paulo Costa, who picked up a particularly impressive win over Azamat Murzakanov.<\/p>\n

And although the Brazilian has been pitched for an interim 205lb title fight by Joe Rogan, Prochazka would love to fight either him or former champion Magomed Ankalaev in an October return.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to be back, I believe around, without delay I even have the time with my girls, so it is going to be like two months, without delay it\u2019s two months really in the massive press so I just got here back from after the fight, straight to the hospital.<\/p>\n

\u201cImmediately, I consider somewhere around October. Immediately, Costa or Ankalaev (is sensible).\u201d<\/p>\n

Ankalaev has been teasing a possible UFC Baku matchup against Khalil Rountree Jr, nevertheless, nothing has been announced by the promotion yet. <\/p>\n
