\n\tNetflix\u2019s \u2018Big Mistakes\u201d and \u201cDeath By Lightning\u201d led the nominations for this 12 months\u2019s Gotham Television Awards, as announced Tuesday by the Gotham Film & Media Institute. The org revealed noms in 12 award categories.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cWith today\u2019s nominations, our third annual Gotham Television Awards celebrates an incredible 12 months of breakthrough comedies, dramas, and original movies, in addition to a newly expanded Limited or Anthology Series category recognizing where a few of television\u2019s boldest work is being made,\u201d said The Gotham executive director Jeffrey Sharp in an announcement. \u201cAs the primary awards show of the brand new television season, we\u2019re proud to bring together the industry\u2019s most enjoyable voices, have a good time the 12 months\u2019s achievements, and deepen our commitment to supporting the creative community we represent here at The Gotham.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\t\u2018Big Mistakes\u201d and \u201cDeath By Lightning\u201d received 4 noms, while \u201cI Love LA,\u201d \u201cA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,\u201d \u201cAlien: Earth,\u201d \u201cPluribus,\u201d \u201cBeef\u201d and \u201cDTF St. Louis\u201d recevied three nods each.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Gotham 2026 Television Awards event will probably be held on Monday, June 1, at 7 p.m. ET\u00a0at Cipriani Wall Street in Latest York. The Duffer Brothers will probably be given a special honor for \u201cStranger Things,\u201d with additional awards to be announced soon.<\/p>\n
\n\tNominations were chosen by a gaggle of film and tv critics, journalists, festival programmers and film curators. Additional juries of \u201cwriters, directors, actors, producers, editors, and others directly involved in making television\u201d will select the ultimate Gotham Television Awards winners.\u00a0Last 12 months\u2019s honorees included \u201cAdolescence,\u201d \u201cThe Studio,\u201d\u00a0\u201cThe Pitt,\u201d\u00a0\u201cSocial Studies\u201d and \u201cPee-wee as Himself,\u201d along with tributes for\u00a0Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino,\u00a0Hwang Dong-hyuk and\u00a0Elisabeth Moss, in addition to\u00a0the solid of\u00a0\u201cThe Handmaid\u2019s Tale,\u201d\u00a0Parker Posey,\u00a0Brian Tyree Henry,\u00a0Sheryl Lee Ralph and\u00a0David E. Kelley.\u00a0<\/p>\n
