The Pittsburgh Penguins are trying to perform a miracle within the Stanley Cup Playoffs. After being down 3-0 to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Penguins have forced a Game 6 within the series.<\/p>\n

Because the Penguins look to grow to be just the eleventh team in NHL history to force a Game 7 after being down 3-0 within the series, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is speaking out in regards to the comeback<\/a>, per Wes Crosby of NHL.com.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe that it’s quite clear, the situation for us,\u201d Crosby said after a 3-2 win in Game 5 on Monday. \u201cIt’s win or go home, so I believe that urgency, that desperation, whatever you must call it, I believe is brought out in everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crosby struggled in the primary three games of the series. He was held off the rating sheet in the primary two games and had a minus-one plus\/minus rating in each games. In Game 3, he registered his first assist, but once more had a minus-one rating. Within the last two games, each Penguins victories, he has a goal and three assists, with a plus-two plus\/minus rating.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe that we have done an ideal job of handling adversity,\u201d Crosby said. \u201cAgain, here, we’re faced with more and that does not get any easier. We understand it’s a giant challenge going into there, but I believe we’ve got lots of belief in our group. We have done it time and time again, so we expect we’ll do it again here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crosby has been in this example before. The Penguins lost the primary three games against the Flyers in the primary round of the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs. They might win Game 4 10-3 after which Game 5 3-2. Still, they might fall in Game 6, losing 5-1.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe every series is latest,\u201d Crosby said. \u201cYou are trying to depend on experience to some extent, but I believe it’s latest groups, different situations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crosby believes the Penguins have what it takes to be the fifth team in NHL history to win a series after being down three games to none. It starts with a win in Game 6, on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
