Nidhi Shah, who gained popularity together with her role as Kinjal Shah in Anupamaa, opens up about her decision to maneuver on from the character, citing limited creative growth and her desire to step out of her comfort zone. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble<\/strong>, she reveals that despite multiple television offers, she intentionally took a break to give attention to self-improvement, auditions, and expanding her journey into OTT, movies, and newer formats. Scroll all the way down to read more.<\/p>\n When questioned why she stepped away from her beloved character Kinjal in Anupamaa, Nidhi Shah shared, \u201cEk toh kya ho gaya tha na, scenes bahut monotonous aate the, repetitive scenes ho gaye the. Second, I just felt ki ab aage mujhe badhna hai life mein. I need to do so much more things and something that’s out of my comfort zone.<\/em> So I felt prefer it\u2019s time for me to maneuver on, it\u2019s time for me to simply give an end to this character.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n She added, \u201cPersonally, Kinjal ke character mein growth nahi ho rahi thi. Jo bhi uski life ki journey thi, jitni bhi thi, woh sir ne dikha di thi, writers ne dikha di thi. So I just felt ki now it\u2019s time to finish it on note. Toh isliye maine chhod diya. And in addition, sir took a leap of 5, 6, 10, 15 years, I believe, after that. Toh mujhe aise bade-bade bachchon ki maa nahi banna tha, so yeah I left it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n When asked if she transitioned straight to OTT platforms or was also offered television roles, Nidhi Shah shared, \u201cSerials ke liye definitely bahut logon ne mujhe approach kiya. Kaafi projects ke liye logon ne bola ki we would love to forged you and so and so, par mujhe break lena tha. And I remember loads of people on Instagram mere DMs pe mujhe message karte hain ki \u2018you aren’t doing anything, aapko koi kaam nahi mil raha hai kya? Aap aise hi baithe ho? Aapne itna bada show kiya, so what\u2019s next?\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n Nidhi continued, \u201cI used to be like ki yaar mere sapne aur bhi bahut bade hain. Anupamaa mere liye ek bahut life-changing experience hai, lekin mujhe is cheez ko apna comfort nahi banana hai. Mujhe aur aage kaam karna hai aur cheezein explore karni hain. So I took a break. I began taking loads of workshops\u2014doing loads of workshops, ki acting courses karni hain, kahaan most important apne aapko aur improve kar sakti hoon.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The actress concluded, \u201cSo I began giving loads of auditions\u2014web series ke liye, movies ke liye, South ke liye, alag-alag OTTs ke liye most important auditions de rahi thi. And I took a break also beech mein, yes I used to be gonna do a show but then things didn\u2019t work out\u2014it was Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. But I don\u2019t know, things couldn\u2019t work out the way in which they need to have, so I moved on. I\u2019m like, chalo theek hai, it\u2019s okay, you realize, there\u2019s at all times one other likelihood, there\u2019s a lot to sit up for. Toh maine ye audition diya for Sapna vs Everyone S2, and by the grace of God, I got it. And I\u2019m very completely happy about it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Anupamaa is a preferred Hindi television drama that follows the journey of Anupamaa, played by Rupali Ganguly, a faithful homemaker who slowly discovers her self-worth and independence after years of sacrifice for her family.
