The trade, industry and fans woke up today within the morning with the shocking news that the much awaited film, Toxic<\/em>, has been postponed yet again. The Yash-starrer was originally scheduled to be released on March 19. Nonetheless, resulting from the tense war situation within the Middle East, the makers decided to push the film to June 4. On the morning of April 29, they revealed that the motion entertainer is postponed yet again. This time, the makers didn\u2019t declare any release date.<\/p>\n

After vacating June 4, is Toxic eyeing an Independence Day release?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A source told Bollywood Hungama<\/strong>, \u201cThe makers of Toxic<\/em> are seriously considering to release the film within the Independence Day week, either on August 13 or August 14. They feel it might probably be a perfect period to release. For the reason that makers are taking a look at an enormous global release, the second week of August works well as there\u2019s no major Hollywood film releasing in that period.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source continued, \u201cThe makers of Toxic<\/em> are also taking a look at other dates as well. But it surely\u2019s the Independence Day weekend that has caught their eye.\u201d<\/p>\n

If Toxic<\/em> arrives on August 14 or 13, it\u2019ll find yourself clashing with two major Hindi movies. One is Rajkumar Santoshi\u2019s Lahore 1947<\/em>, which is scheduled for a release on August 13. It stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta and is produced by Aamir Khan. Secondly, Awarapan 2, <\/em>starring Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani, releases on August 14.<\/p>\n
