Matt Hardy is optimistic in regards to the futures of two “WWE NXT” call-ups to the primary roster, stating that they’ve the potential to turn out to be legends.<\/p>\n

Hardy revealed on “The Extreme Lifetime of Matt Hardy Podcast<\/a>” that he’s pleased to see Ethan Page get the call-up to the primary roster, arguing that he was ready for TV when he signed with WWE, and would’ve benefitted from working with Shawn Michaels.<\/p>\n

“I feel it’s a superb call. You realize, I do know we talked about before, he was ready when he walked in NXT. I\u00a0feel like he was just about TV-ready because it was. The incontrovertible fact that he got experience at NXT, he got the texture of the WWE format, set to work with Shawn Michaels, which is a blessing for anyone simply to get his feedback and input, and insight into things. So, it was a superb experience for him, but I feel he has done the whole lot he could do in NXT,” he said. “I feel he’s the epitome of a sports entertainer because he is superb in ring, he’s excellent on promos, and he gets character stuff, and he gets telling stories.”<\/p>\n

Hardy was then asked how far Page, in addition to one other recent “NXT” call-up, Joe Hendry, could go on the primary roster. The tag team legend, who has worked with each stars in AEW and TNA, respectively, has high hopes for them and feels they might turn out to be legends in WWE.<\/p>\n

“I feel they’ve the potential to do good. I feel they’re each so creative, they usually’re also so revolutionary, they usually’re willing to do various things. They’re willing to experiment,” Hardy explained. “I feel each of those could possibly find yourself, you realize, reaching a really high, near the highest position in WWE. I feel they might each be players and turn out to be legends because they might accomplish that well as they go up.”<\/p>\n
