Alexander Volkanovski admits he feels for Beneil Dariush over lightweight title shot snub<\/h2>\n

Heading into 2023, Beneil Dariush was riding an eight-fight win streak that might have earned him a light-weight title shot if the proper cards fell into place.<\/p>\n

Dariush said last yr that he never felt like he was going to get the title shot despite beating the likes of Tony Ferguson and Mateusz Gamrot during his best run of form.<\/p>\n

His win streak got here to a devastating end when he was stopped in the primary round by former champion Charles Oliveira in a fight that secured \u2018Do Bronx\u2019 a rematch with Makhachev.<\/p>\n
