Nato is liable to \u2018disintegrating\u2019 after Donald Trump pulls 5,000 troops out of Germany following arguments over the Iran war.<\/p>\n

The US President has repeatedly lashed out at German chancellor Friedrich Merz over claims the US had been \u2018humiliated\u2019. <\/p>\n

Merz said Iranian leaders were \u2018negotiating very skilfully, denouncing the dearth of a US exit strategy\u2019 and had humiliated the US when it got officials to travel to Pakistan for talks with no real result at the tip.<\/p>\n

In a rant on Truth Social, Trump then accused Merz of tolerating a nuclear-armed Iran, telling him he needed to \u2018fix his broken country\u2019. <\/p>\n

Following this Germany\u2019s defence minister Boris Pistorius has said Europeans must take greater responsibility for their very own security.<\/p>\n

Poland\u2019s prime minister Donald Tusk warned Nato is \u2018disintegrating\u2019. <\/p>\n

He wrote on social media: \u2018The best threat to the transatlantic community should not its external enemies, but the continued disintegration of our alliance.<\/p>\n

\u2018We must all do what it takes to reverse this disastrous trend.\u2019<\/p>\n

A NATO spokesperson said the alliance was working with the US to grasp the main points of the choice.<\/p>\n

Merz is amongst many European heads who’ve been on the receiving end of Trump\u2019s rants. <\/p>\n

Even UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer was told he was no \u2018Winston Churchill\u2019 after he wouldn’t let the US use British bases for Iranian attacks at first. <\/p>\n

Starmer also said he didn’t support a Nato operation within the Strait of Hormuz. <\/p>\n

Trump has said for years about reducing the American military presence in Germany, and has railed against\u00a0Nato\u00a0for its refusal to help Washington within the war, which began on February 28 with US-Israeli strikes on Iran.<\/p>\n

Mr Trump wrote Wednesday on social media that the US was reviewing possible troop reductions in Germany, with a \u201cdetermination\u201d to be made soon.<\/p>\n
