Following the closed betas back in September and December, Arc System Works has revealed two more characters joining MARVEL T\u014dkon: Fighting Souls. Announced at EVO Japan 2026, Hulk (voiced by Fred Tatasciore) and Black Panther (voiced by Erica Luttrell) round out the third team in the sport, the Fighting Avengers, alongside the previously revealed Captain America and Iron Man.<\/p>\n
This version of Hulk has been exiled to the Savage Land by S.H.I.E.L.D. and even his fellow Avengers as a result of his instability, and his design leans into that backstory with dinosaur bone armor over the classic gamma-radiated frame. Mechanically, he builds a singular Gamma Gauge as he takes hits, which will be unleashed at maximum to enter Gamma Rage and significantly boost his strength and speed. Producer Takeshi Yamanaka teased that landing a one-shot attack at the appropriate moment can deal massive damage.<\/p>\n
The Black Panther in MARVEL T\u014dkon: Fighting Souls is Shuri, who has recently inherited the mantle from her brother and rules Wakanda as queen. She fights with the Spear of Bashenga at mid-range and has a high-speed mobility skill called Bast\u2019s Blessing that lets her dash in multiple directions. The skill consumes its own dedicated gauge but will be canceled out of normal attacks and skills, opening up flexible combo and mixup opportunities. Wakanda itself was also revealed as a brand-new playable stage.<\/p>\n Arc System Works also pulled the curtain back a bit on the sport\u2019s central villain. The Champion is considered one of the Elders of the Universe, a cosmic conqueror obsessive about hand-to-hand combat who travels from planet to planet in search of worthy opponents. Worlds that fail to entertain him get destroyed, and Earth is now next on his list. He runs the \u201cChallenge of the Champion\u201d tournament alongside his right-hand showwoman, Promoter, with teams of 4 battling through qualifiers for the appropriate to face him. The Fighting Avengers enter as considered one of the leading contenders, though Yamanaka hints there is perhaps more to the tournament than simply sport.
