The corporate has also reportedly remained reliant on wealthy investors to remain afloat. Filings show L\u00d8CI received \u00a35,170,947 in investor funding, helping prop up the struggling enterprise and leaving it with equity of nearly \u00a32.3 million despite the heavy losses.<\/p>\n

Beyond its financial struggles, the corporate may be courting trouble with U.K. authorities after allegedly filing its accounts late for 2 consecutive years. It was also reportedly late in submitting its annual \u201cconfirmation statement,\u201d a legal requirement for firms within the country.<\/p>\n

The U.K. government\u2019s website warns that failing to file confirmation statements, annual returns, or accounts is a criminal offense, and that directors or designated LLP members might be personally fined in criminal courts.<\/p>\n
