A four-year-old boy is fighting for his life after he drowned at a hotel pool in Gran Canaria.<\/p>\n

The kid was pulled from the water on the south side of British holiday hotspot on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews first took him to a close-by private medical centre in San Bartolom\u00e9 de Tirajana.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, his condition deteriorated and specialist rescue teams were called in to take him to a specialist unit within the capital, Las Palmas.<\/p>\n

Medics from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) rescued the kid by helicopter before landing at a faculty automobile park.<\/p>\n

The teen was then met by an ambulance, which raced him to the island\u2019s University Maternal and Child Hospital.<\/p>\n

    Officials confirmed the boy had shown clear signs of severe drowning before the emergency transfer was triggered.<\/p>\n
