Jamie Carragher believes Arsenal can wrap up the Premier League title with a win against West Ham next weekend after Manchester City dropped points against Everton on Monday.<\/p>\n

The title is now back within the Gunners\u2019 hands after City played out a choatic 3-3 draw with Everton on the Hill Dickinson stadium.<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola\u2019s side led through Jeremy Doku\u2019s first-half strike, but mistakes and ill-discipline saw City ship three goals within the space of just 13 minutes as David Moyes\u2019s side ran riot on Merseyside.<\/p>\n

Erling Haaland hit back straight from kick-off to scale back the deficit before Doku\u2019s superb strike in added time ensured that the visitors escaped with some extent.<\/p>\n

But Arsenal at the moment are firmly back within the driving seat to assert their first title in over 20 years, holding a five-point advantage over City, who still have one game more to play than their north London rivals.<\/p>\n

The main target for Mikel Arteta\u2019s side can be firmly on Tueday\u2019s massive Champions League semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid, and the possibility to achieve their first final in that competition since 2006.<\/p>\n

But Carragher believes that Arsenal could have one hand on yet more silverware in the event that they can navigate a potentially awkward trip to East London next weekend once they face relegation-threatened West Ham.<\/p>\n

\u2018From an Arsenal perspective, tonight is all concerning the league but I believe tomorrow, are you able to imagine the thrill,\u2019 Carragher said on Sky Sports.<\/p>\n

\u2018Yes, it\u2019s a special competition but the thrill from Arsenal fans, the energy that can be in that stadium. Get to the Champions League final, the league is in you hands with two or three weeks to go.<\/p>\n

\u2018But when Arsenal win that game away [at West Ham] next Sunday, they’ve won the league. The league is won. They beat West Ham it’s on.<\/p>\n

\u2018They are going to beat Burnely absolutely no problem at home, I believe it\u2019s on West Ham away and the Manchester City need maximum points then to take it to the last day. But I believe in the event that they win at West Ham away, the league is won.\u2019<\/p>\n

But former Arsenal title-winner Thierry Henry was not as keen to get swept up in emotions after City\u2019s dropped points on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u2018I said earlier that I can see City dropping points at Everton like I\u2019m apprehensive concerning the West Ham game [for Arsenal] so I\u2019m going to remain in my lane and have a good time too early because nothing is finished,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

\u2018But I could see that happenning because things can occur at Everton at any moment and I’d say that I saw a little bit of nervousness with City because they technically brought Everton back into the match with some mistakes.\u2019<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, speaking after his side\u2019s dramatic draw, Guardiola told Sky Sports: \u2018Really good performance. We played outstanding in the primary half. Really, really good. Second half, they made a step up and we perhaps weren\u2019t as aggressive and after, after all, we gave away the goal. <\/p>\n

\u2018After they got here back, they make a correct English game \u2013 so aggressive, so, so aggressive within the duels. But usually, we made a extremely good performance.\u2019<\/p>\n

On what this result does for the title race, the Spaniard added: \u2018We take the purpose and until it\u2019s over, we are going to proceed. <\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s higher than losing, It shows what sort of team they’re. It\u2019s not in our hands. Before it was, now it\u2019s not. We’ve games left. We are going to see what happens.\u2019<\/p>\n

Ciy return to league motion next Saturday once they host Brentford on the Etihad Stadium.<\/p>\n
