Breaking that grip would deny Tehran a serious source of leverage.<\/p>\n

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condemned the attacks, calling the targeting of civilians and infrastructure \u201cunacceptable.\u201d On X, Modi said India stands in \u201cfirm solidarity\u201d with the UAE, and stressed the necessity for secure and uninterrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n
Tehran didn’t confirm or deny the attacks but Iran\u2019s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi early Tuesday said on X that each the U.S. and the UAE \u201cought to be wary of being dragged back into quagmire.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia condemned the strikes against the UAE. The Saudi condemnation got here despite increasingly strained relations between it and the UAE.<\/p>\n
