Iran has launched one other round of air strikes against the United Arab Emirates a day after attacking an important oil port within the Gulf State.<\/p>\n

The UAE said in statements on X that they’re shooting down missile and drone attacks originating from Iran.<\/p>\n

\u2018The sounds heard in scattered areas of the country are the results of the UAE\u2019s air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones,\u2019 their Ministry of Defence added in a press release.<\/p>\n

Residents have been instructed to search out a protected location to shelter from the strikes.<\/p>\n

A big fire broke out at the important thing oil port after a drone attack, officials said.<\/p>\n

Authorities added that three people \u2013 all Indian nationals \u2013 were taken to hospital for treatment after the strike on the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone.<\/p>\n

Tensions on the\u00a0Strait of Hormuz\u00a0proceed\u00a0greater than 24 hours after\u00a0Donald Trump\u00a0declared \u2018Project Freedom, a US-led operation to guide\u00a0neutral\u00a0vessels out of the Strait.<\/p>\n

The US said that two American-flagged merchant vessels had moved through the Strait on Monday after the project kicked off.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, experts have warned that that is only a drop within the ocean in comparison with\u00a0some 135 vessels transiting through before the beginning of the war.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
