The daughter of a British woman said her mum has not been seen for 3 months after vanishing following a supermarket trip in France. <\/p>\n

The family of Stephanie Thomson, 75, have spoken about their agony after the British retiree went missing from her motorhome within the western region of Haute-Vienne in January. <\/p>\n

She was last seen at Camping les Vig\u00e8res\u00a0in Le Chalard on January 29 before she went missing and not using a trace. <\/p>\n

Mrs Thomson had been having fun with her retirement within the French countryside along with her husband Ken after moving there in 2012.<\/p>\n

Her daughter Tracy, 55, from Redcar, said the past few months have been \u2018unimaginable.\u2019 <\/p>\n

She told the Sun: \u2018The last three months have just been like a living hell. Not knowing where she is is one in all the toughest things to try to get my head around.<\/p>\n

\u2018I hope she is secure, but each scenario is running through my mind.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s torturous. Your mind never switches off.<\/p>\n

\u2018I never imagined that I can be in a situation where I don\u2019t know where my mum is.\u2019 <\/p>\n

The pensioner is claimed to have returned from the shops along with her husband Ken, a former British Steel employee, who went for a nap. <\/p>\n

When he woke up, his wife had left without her phone, passport or bank cards. <\/p>\n

It led to a search operation by the French Gendarmerie, with dogs, helicopters and divers deployed to scour the nearby forests and lakes, but there was no sign of the pensioner.<\/p>\n

Daughter Tracy said her dad had recently began chemotherapy for lung cancer. <\/p>\n

The couple have been married for 56 years, and Tracy fears her mum may not have coped with the cancer diagnosis in addition to she led on. <\/p>\n

She said she believes her mum can have gone somewhere by herself \u2018because she will not be coping.\u2019 <\/p>\n

\u2018Confirmation from her that she is okay would just be great, but I understand when individuals are scuffling with their mental\u00a0health<\/a>\u00a0they find it hard to achieve out,\u2019 she added. <\/p>\n

Mrs Thomson is described as of slim construct with grey hair, and she or he was last seen wearing dark trousers, black or grey boots and a light-weight blue puffer jacket. <\/p>\n

Gendarmerie within the Haute-Vienne area issued an appeal in February, saying the girl used to walk the forest paths aroundChalard and Ladignac le Long, but despite extensive searches, she has not been found. <\/p>\n
