As per a recent Telangana Today report, representatives of Sri Durga Arts \u2013 one among the producers of Varanasi, approached the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) and requested 150 water tankers. Each tank in query reportedly hold a large 10,000 litres of water each. <\/p>\n
<\/blockquote>\nThe letter stated that the water was required to fill a pond for an important underwater sequences. Addressed to HMWSSB\u2019s Managing Director K Ashok Reddy, the letter requested that the water be purified to satisfy the shoot\u2019s quality standards. The production house assured the agency that they’d pay tanker charges from the availability point to the shooting location at Gaganpahad. Nevertheless, the HMWSSB officials have denied the request.<\/p>\n
The publication reported that Ashok Reddy told the makers they might not supply the water tankers for Varanasi\u2019s shoot. It further noted that the denial was communicated orally to the film\u2019s team. In accordance with reports, the HMWSSB is currently struggling to satisfy increased water demand in town amid a heatwave.<\/p>\n
Talking concerning the underwater scene, Hindustan Times noted that the sequences is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The schedule with continued through May. As per their report, the film\u2019s team is now scrambling to rearrange water from other sources.<\/p>\n
