Jared Gordon has vowed to kick off a run towards a rematch with Paddy Pimblett \u2013 and insists that he’ll win again.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In fact, the record books show that Pimblett won their UFC 282 showdown by Unanimous Decision, but even he admits he \u2018got lucky\u2019. Since then, the Brit went on to fight for an interim world title and continued his winning streak, while Gordon has struggled to place together a run of wins and even fights.<\/p>\n

The Recent Yorker is ready to return to the cage for the primary time since September at UFC 328 on Saturday night. He faces a legendary Recent Jersey native in Jim Miller at Prudential Center, and believes that a win could kickstart his path towards a Pimblett who he feels is ready to begin a decline.<\/p>\n

Jared Gordon believes Paddy Pimblett rematch is inevitable once he wins at UFC 328<\/h2>\n

Justin Gaethje was the person who ultimately inflicted Paddy Pimblett\u2019s first defeat under the UFC banner back in January after they headlined the promotion\u2019s launch on Paramount+. Nevertheless, Jared Gordon believes that he did it first.<\/p>\n

And he desires to do it again, telling Bloody Elbow in Recent Jersey that he believes a few victories coupled with Pimblett losing \u2013 as expected \u2013 to Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 329 will set them up perfectly.<\/p>\n

\u201cPaddy is highly regarded and he gets pushed, good for him, lucky him,\u201d Gordon said. \u201cJustin, I feel, is the cleaner fighter on the feet, he couldn\u2019t take him down so it stayed there more often than not. But I didn\u2019t think it was an excellent performance for either of them. <\/p>\n

\u201cI feel Justin probably feels the identical way and Paddy, obviously\u2026 The whole lot happens for a reason and I still think there\u2019s a chance for me to fight him again. I do know he\u2019s fighting BSD which is a very tough fight for him. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo I beat Jim Saturday, possibly win another and I\u2019m on a two-fight winning streak while he\u2019s on a two-fight losing streak. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s too crazy to think that we could fight again and it might make sense at that time. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever happens, I even have to trust it, however it was written. I do think there\u2019s a very good probability it could occur, I’ll push for it and I’ll beat him again.\u201d <\/p>\n

Jared Gordon unimpressed by UFC 325 interim title fight<\/h2>\n

As only a spectator, Jared Gordon was left wanting more from Pimblett and Gaethje after they met in Vegas, adding: \u201cI believed it was terrible, they each looked bad in that fight. They each had way higher performances before and I used to be like, , styles make fights. <\/p>\n
