Following Alec Halaby<\/strong>\u2018s decision to go away his assistant general manager post with the Eagles, the team has made moves to solidify that tier under longtime front office boss Howie Roseman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The team prolonged assistant GM Jon Ferrari<\/strong> and has since announced Adam Berry<\/strong>\u2018s promotion to the AGM level. The dual brother of Browns GM (and ex-Eagles exec) Andrew Berry<\/strong>, Adam will move from vp of football operations and strategy into Halaby\u2019s old post. Essentially the most notable staff addition in Philly comes via a Mike Maccagnan<\/strong> hire. Maccagnan, the Jets\u2019 GM from 2015-19, is joining the Eagles as a personnel executive. Maccagnan, 58, has not held an NFL role for the reason that Jets fired him following the 2019 draft. Prior to his 2015 Jets hire, Maccagnan spent 15 years on the scouting side with the Texans. He finished that tenure by serving 4 years because the team\u2019s college scouting director. This run included the team\u2019s J.J. Watt<\/strong> draft alternative. Prior to being in on the bottom floor in Houston, Maccagnan spent seven years as a Washington scout.<\/p>\n

In his second stint with the Eagles, Douglas will rise from the scouting level to senior VP of player personnel. This notable title bump comes after the Falcons interviewed the six-year Jets GM this offseason. Douglas is back in a well-recognized role, having served because the team\u2019s VP of player personnel from 2016-19 \u2014 ahead of his Jets GM ascent. Roseman rehired Douglas in May 2025.<\/p>\n

Alan Wolking<\/strong> will slide from director of player personnel to VP of football ops and strategy. Wolking has been with the Eagles since 2011, when Roseman and Andy Reid<\/strong> were working together to guide the operation. Phil Bhaya<\/strong>, who’s moving from player personnel director to VP of player personnel, has been with the team since 2014.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Jeremy Gray<\/strong>, whom the Eagles hired in 2022, is moving from assistant director of player personnel to director of that department. Lee Divalerio<\/strong>, who had served on the scouting level previously, is rising to assistant director of professional scouting. Divalerio has been with the Eagles since 2017. The Eagles are also elevating Preston Tiffany<\/strong> (to southwest area scout) and hiring Caspian Svenson<\/strong> as a professional scout.<\/p>\n

As for Berry, he has made a significant climb in only three years in football. A longtime Goldman Sachs staffer, Berry joined the Eagles in 2023 as their director of football operations and strategy; this got here three years after the Eagles saw then-staffer Andrew land the Browns\u2019 GM gig. Adam, 39, has never worked along with his brother within the NFL.<\/p>\n

This rise, nonetheless, figures to position the less experienced Berry twin on the GM radar.
