Justin Baldoni<\/strong><\/span>\u2019s longtime friend Adam Mondschein<\/strong> is sharing a glimpse into the actor\u2019s mindset after his It Ends With Us<\/i><\/span> legal battle with Blake Full of life<\/span><\/strong> was settled before trial.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis sentiment, to me, is just relief as a friend, but additionally needing prayers and love and thoughts to weather the following stage,\u201d Mondschein, 50, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> on Thursday, May 7. \u201cThe relief is there. The support is gorgeous \u2014 from the community, from the strangers, from the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mondschein said his friend was \u201cliterally recovering from a chilly\u201d this week before adding, \u201cIt\u2019s the emotional taxing on the family. It\u2019s the emotional tax of all of this. I feel it\u2019s been overwhelming.\u201d<\/p>\n

News broke on Monday, May 4, that Full of life, 38, and Baldoni, 42, had reached a settlement<\/span> of their highly contentious It Ends With Us<\/i> lawsuit, which began in December 2024.<\/p>\n

On Monday, May 4, news broke that Blake Full of life, 38, and Justin Baldoni, 42, had reached a settlement of their lawsuit after nearly two years, just [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe tip product \u2013 the movie It Ends With Us<\/i> \u2013 is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact within the lives of domestic violence survivors \u2013 and all survivors \u2013 is a goal that we stand behind,\u201d lawyers for each parties said in a press release to Us<\/i>. \u201cWe acknowledge the method presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Full of life deserved to be heard.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cWe remain firmly committed to workplaces freed from improprieties and unproductive environments. It’s our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to maneuver forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.\u201d<\/p>\n

While a settlement avoids a trial in Recent York City, Full of life filed a notice of settlement<\/span> on Thursday, wherein she requested damages to cover her attorneys\u2019 fees and costs, in addition to compensatory and punitive damages.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel they\u2019re waiting to really have fun. But there\u2019s just no doubt that it is a win,\u201d Mondschein claimed to Us <\/i>concerning the settlement. \u201cI feel they\u2019re very relieved, they usually\u2019re excited for the day that the celebration can actually begin, but since it\u2019s not truly over for them, I feel we\u2019re those that get to form of, like, have fun a bit bit for them. \u2026 We\u2019ll all be very glad when that is, I mean, not a part of the final conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey’ve weathered this of their hearts for such a protracted time,\u201d Mondschein added. \u201cI feel there’s an emotional cost to this on a private level.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baldoni and Full of life\u2019s settlement got here as each parties seemed to be<\/span> preparing for his or her upcoming trial, with jury selection expected to start on Monday, May 18.<\/p>\n

In line with Mondschein, Baldoni didn\u2019t fear having to go to trial.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe never was going to quit,\u201d Mondschein claimed. \u201cThey were excited for the day in a single approach to tell it in court along the best way, but you\u2019re seeing it tax your kids, tax your wife, after which having to hold that. Also, having to maintain staying firm. It’s exhausting. He shouldn’t be a quitter, I’ll let you know that.\u201d<\/p>\n
