Alan Shearer has delivered his predictions for this weekend\u2019s Premier League fixtures as Arsenal look to take one other big step towards the title against West Ham.<\/p>\n

Premier League leaders Arsenal visit relegation-battlers West Ham on Sunday after title rivals Manchester City play host to Brentford the day before.<\/p>\n

The Premier League motion begins on Saturday night with struggling Chelsea taking over Liverpool at Anfield.<\/p>\n

In-form Manchester United then face Sunderland, basement boys Wolves visit Brighton and Europe-chasing Bournemouth meet Fulham.<\/p>\n

There are three 2pm kick-offs on Sunday with Burnley hosting Aston Villa, Everton travelling to Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest taking over Newcastle United.<\/p>\n

A hugely essential weekend of Premier League motion ends on Monday night with relegation rivals Tottenham and Leeds United meeting in north London.<\/p>\n

As ever, England legend and\u00a0Betfair<\/a>\u00a0ambassador Alan Shearer has revealed his Premier League predictions to\u00a0Metro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Liverpool v Chelsea<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s an enormous opportunity for Liverpool here. Chelsea look a large number, don\u2019t they? I don\u2019t know the way persistently I\u2019ve said it, but whatever happens at the highest of the club at all times filters down onto the pitch, and that\u2019s exactly what\u2019s happening now.<\/p>\n

It looks as if their players try to get through the season to the FA Cup Final, after which see what happens.\u00a0It\u00a0can\u2019t look past Liverpool to win this one, and that may secure Champions League football after what\u2019s been a very disappointing season for them.<\/p>\n

Having watched Chelsea v Forest the opposite night, Chelsea were shocking, they were abysmal and there must be a large improvement from that, because you possibly can\u2019t just turn it on and off. You may\u2019t just turn up and think, oh, we\u2019ll get through to the FA Cup Final and see what happens.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re really struggling now for European football next season, let alone Champions League football. I just don\u2019t know what to anticipate from Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Brighton v Wolves<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I feel Brighton played some really great things at Newcastle last week without success, and I\u2019d greater than expect them to bounce back at home to Wolves on Saturday.<\/p>\n

If there may be one team you ought to play to bounce back and get a result this season more times than not it has been Wolves.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Brighton win<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fulham v Bournemouth<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bournemouth could put the pressure on those teams currently within the Champions League spots on Saturday because their recruitment has been unbelievable this season.<\/p>\n

For them to sell who they\u2019ve sold and be in a a lot better position than they were last 12 months is incredible, and it wouldn\u2019t surprise me in the event that they went to Fulham and took all three points, so I\u2019m going to say three points for Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

Fulham have been a bit higher at home, but they’re difficult to predict, and with uncertainty in regards to the manager, for all those reasons, I\u2019ll go for an away win.<\/p>\n

Sunderland v Manchester United<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For a very long time, Sunderland were good at home being So tough to beat but that has not been the case of late.\u00a0I suppose with Xhaka being out for that period of time, it didn\u2019t help them. They got stung a few times. Yeah, tough one to predict, this one. I\u2019m going to go for a draw.<\/p>\n

I’d hope Man United won\u2019t be on the beach now having qualified for Champions League football next season. I’d hope that due to what the manager\u2019s done and the success that he\u2019s had, that they\u2019d wish to stamp his authority on the team and help get him the job and which means going and winning every game between now and the tip of the season.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Draw<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manchester City v Brentford<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Brentford have European hopes they usually\u2019ve had an excellent season. They\u2019ll go into it stuffed with confidence with nothing to fear. But I\u2019d be amazed if City didn\u2019t get the job done, particularly with City being at home, I\u2019d be amazed if City didn\u2019t take all three points especially after dropping points to Everton last day trip. They’ll wish to bounce back and I feel they are going to here.<\/p>\n

Burnley v Aston Villa<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Aston Villa were poor against Spurs last week they usually know what they should do to get Champions League football next season, and depending on what happens tomorrow evening in Europe they could must win even greater than they did.<\/p>\n

As you recognize,\u00a0nobody\u2019s got that belief in Burnley. They\u2019ve removed the manager, the season can\u2019t end quick enough for them, so an away win for Aston Villa. Whatever happens to them within the Europa League on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Aston Villa win<\/strong><\/p>\n

Crystal Palace v Everton<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Everton would\u2019ve taken the purpose on Monday before the sport against City, it\u2019s just the style that it happened though, you get into an incredible position at 3-1 and then you definately give two late goals away. They only switched off after they scored that third goal.<\/p>\n

I feel Crystal Palace will do what they\u2019ve done in the previous couple of games, which is rest 3 or 4 players and leave them on the bench. I feel they\u2019ll do the identical again, and for that reason, I\u2019ll say Everton will win.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Everton win<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Tough one to predict, depending on what happens with Nottingham Forest in Europe. I mean, Morgan Gibbs-White is flying. I do know he got an injury the opposite day, whether he\u2019ll be fit or not, we\u2019ll must wait and see.<\/p>\n

But again, I feel, given the circumstances, with Forest in Europe and Newcastle winning last weekend, I\u2019m going to say a draw.<\/p>\n

West Ham v Arsenal<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I feel West Ham were really poor defensively at Brentford last weekend. They gave too many probabilities away, too many goals.<\/p>\n

I feel Arsenal will win this weekend having that belief and confidence that they\u2019ve got on the club now, knowing that it\u2019s such a troublesome game, but I\u2019m just going to edge on the side of Arsenal taking the three points, which might put West Ham in a difficult position by way of relegation.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Arsenal win<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tottenham v Leeds United<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Leeds are going to play an enormous part in who gets relegated, because they play each Spurs and West Ham. It\u2019s fascinating, but I feel with what I saw from Spurs last week, they could just have enough now to stay awake. And I suppose with the energy that they showed the opposite day, I feel they\u2019ll have enough to beat Leeds at home. Spurs to win.<\/p>\n

Roberto De Zerbi has got a shift out of those players, and also you didn\u2019t see any of that six or seven weeks ago. It looks an excellent move now to bring De Zerbi in once they did, that\u2019s the explanation why they did it then it was to get something different out of the players that that they had not been showing, and it looks as if he\u2019s getting that difference now which they\u2019ve not had for big parts of this season, or for any of the season.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Tottenham win<\/strong><\/p>\n
