Arsenal will remain without Jurrien Timber once they tackle West Ham United in Premier League motion today.<\/p>\n

After booking their place within the Champions League final midweek, Arsenal\u2019s focus shifts back to domestic matters. <\/p>\n

Manchester City\u2019s draw with Everton last week means the Gunners have their fate in their very own hands and may take one other huge step towards the title with victory today.<\/p>\n

West Ham meanwhile are scrapping for his or her lives and while last week\u2019s defeat at Brentford, coupled with Tottenham\u2019s win at Aston Villa, was a blow, they will not be gone yet.<\/p>\n

Injuries have eased for Mikel Arteta with Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Riccardo Calafiori all returning to motion during the last two weeks.<\/p>\n

Kai Havertz was also back among the many subs midweek against Atletico with Timber and Mikel Merino their only remaining absentees.<\/p>\n

Timber has not played since mid-March, missing the last 11 games attributable to a groin problem. There was no clear timeframe on when the Dutchman could return to motion with Arteta confirming on Friday there may be \u2018no probability\u2019 he can be involved today.<\/p>\n

Fairly more worryingly, he raised doubts about whether Timber could be seen again before the tip of the season.<\/p>\n

\u2018I don\u2019t know, there remains to be a good bit to do,\u2019 he said. \u2018Every little thing must be so smooth and quick.\u2019<\/p>\n

Now isn’t the time to be resting anyone but Arteta does perhaps have a dilemma in midfield. Myles Lewis-Skelly has impressed alongside Declan Rice instead of Martin Zubimendi within the last two games and has a superb case for keeping his place.<\/p>\n

While Havertz is fit again, Gyokeres\u2019 performances within the last two games have been perhaps his better of the season and he will certainly be handed the leading role for what’s left of the season.<\/p>\n
