Could the Dallas Stars attempt to land a Tkachuk again?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

NHL Rumour Report<\/strong><\/a>: Jeff Marek on with DMase, Vingan & Daunic on the Dallas Stars: \u201cDallas tried to get Matthew Tkachuk<\/a>, they didn\u2019t have the assets that Florida had, and I\u2019m pretty sure that Jim Nill<\/a> would move heaven and earth to try to usher in someone like Brady Tkachuk<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

We is probably not there yet, but there\u2019s going to be a degree to have the conversation about Jon Cooper\u2019s future with the Tampa Bay Lightning<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Each day Faceoff<\/strong><\/a>: Jeff Marek, earlier this week on the long run of Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper. Cooper has some term left on his deal and so they\u2019re still a competitive team, and he\u2019s likely back, but sooner or later, there may be the conversation.<\/p>\n

Tyler Yaremchuk: \u201c4 straight first-round exits for Tampa Bay. Is that just wishful considering from some Canadian fan bases?\u201d<\/p>\n

Marek: \u201cI believe Tyler is true here. Like at a certain point, like all of us just assume that Jon Cooper\u2019s all the time going to be the coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning.<\/p>\n

And he should still thoroughly be the pinnacle coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning, and so they may spin this thing back. And we don\u2019t know what the long run for Victor Hedman<\/a> is. We don\u2019t know whether Darren Raddysh<\/a> goes to hit free agency.<\/p>\n

But they\u2019re still an elite team here. And perhaps Julien BriseBois says we\u2019re going to plug a few holes here and spin this thing back, and Jon Cooper\u2019s our guy, and that\u2019s the top of it. He still does have some term, undecided whether it\u2019s one or two years remaining on his deal, but he does still have some term.<\/p>\n

Or does Julien BriseBois say \u2018Like, Okay, we’d like to make a choice here. Players aren\u2019t going anywhere. We still have a competitive and elite team within the National Hockey League.\u2019<\/p>\n

NHL Rumors: Edmonton Oilers and Tampa Bay Lightning<\/a><\/p>\n

All of us assume that Jon Cooper is all the time going to be the coach, but there may be going to be a day when Jon Cooper isn’t the coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Are we there yet, now? I don\u2019t think so, but I don\u2019t think that it\u2019s something that we must always just brush off and say it\u2019s not even a conversation, because, as Tyler\u2019s point, I believe it’s.\u201d<\/p>\n
