Trade talk involving draft picks should start to choose up<\/strong><\/h2>\n

NHL Media<\/strong><\/a>: Elliotte Friedman said that now that teams have a greater idea of draft slots, trade talk could start to choose up. Teams can have their very own draft tiers, and now know which teams might be drafting in those slots.<\/p>\n

Host: \u201cProbably not the most effective free agent market this summer, who quickly are teams going to get to creating some moves here.<\/p>\n

Friedman: \u201cWell, it\u2019s at all times tough, because there\u2019s teams within the playoffs, Michael, but I do think that after draft position is understood, things do pick up. Now, at the least you already know where everybody\u2019s taking.<\/p>\n

Also, like there\u2019s draft tiers, and I\u2019m not an authority at this, Michael, I don\u2019t follow the prospect so close. But I used to be talking to our two guys that actually do, Jason Bukala and Sam Constantino. And Sam is like, he\u2019s got a gaggle that goes from like one to 6 after which six to 12. After which Bukala\u2019s got like, one to 4 and 4 to nine and nine to fifteen.<\/p>\n

So like, how do teams see it? And now, you already know, you already know, who\u2019s one. You understand who\u2019s two. You understand who\u2019s three. Like, I believe, I don\u2019t know when you\u2019ll see any trades now, it\u2019s just because not everybody is ready and never everybody is settled. But at the least people start doing their due diligence, Michael, about, \u2018Okay, I do know this person\u2019s at three. I believe one and two might like this guy, if I would like to get to a few.
