After entertaining the masses for many years as an actor, C Joseph Vijay was sworn in as Tamil Nadu\u2019s Chief Minister on Sunday, May 10. For the unversed, the film was initially set to release in January on the occasion of Pongal, but as a result of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issues has been in limbo for the last 4 months. While interacting with reporters at Vijay\u2019s swearing-in ceremony, Venkat K Narayana, the founding father of KVN Productions, confirmed that the actor\u2019s final film will probably be releasing this month. Stating that the ultimate CBFC certification process for Jana Nayagan is currently underway, NDTV Movies reported the makerssaying, \u201cFinal processes are underway, and we’re in discussions with them. We’re very blissful and excited<\/em>.\u201d They futher added that the film is predicted to be released in roughly 14 days. If this seems to be true, Vijay Thalapathy\u2019s last film will released in theatres globally this month only.<\/p>\n While talking in regards to the actor who has reportedly given up his acting profession for one in politics, Venkat said, \u201cI do know Vijay sir personally. He may be very disciplined and dedicated, and whatever he guarantees, he fulfils. He walks the talk.\u201d<\/em> Talking in regards to the <\/p>\n The producer further spoke about how the film\u2019s title and themes align with the \u2018recent era\u2019 for Tamil Nadu under Vijay\u2019s leadership. Nonetheless, the film \u2013 also starring Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol, has been delayed after CBFC didn’t certify the film in time. <\/p>\n Reports indicated that the film was first screened for the CBFC examining committee in December 2025.
