Hayes who arranged for Dan and his wife to attend.<\/p>\n<p>While Spivey thought he\u2019d just be getting a seat for the show, he was blown away to learn that he\u2019d be getting two front row tickets on the pay-per-view event.<\/p>\n<p>Spivey said he and his wife received \u201c<em><strong>royal treatment<\/strong><\/em>\u201d and got all-access passes, and spoke about with the ability to meet anyone he desired to.<\/p>\n<p>Dan was also grateful for the roster of wrestlers he\u2019d never met before for treating him with an immense amount of respect on the pay-per-view event.<\/p>\n<p>Spivey wrestled from 1983 to October 1995 and worked in several promotions, including Jim Crockett Promotions, WCW, and All Japan Pro Wrestling, amongst others.<\/p>\n<p>Spivey had two stints within the WWF, the second of which saw him play Waylon Mercy, a personality based on Robert De Niro\u2019s portrayal of Max Cady in 1991\u2019s <em>Cape Fear<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At WWE Backlash 2026, former Superstar Dan Spivey was among the many notable names in attendance, alongside Steve Keirn and several other of the Tampa Bay Lightning players.
