Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was quick to congratulate Marcus Rashford on his La Liga success while on loan at Barcelona.<\/p>\n

The England forward had an evening of dreams on Sunday as he scored a superb free-kick to open the scoring against Real Madrid on the Camp Nou.<\/p>\n

Barca would go on to win El Clasico 2-0 and secure the league title in the method as they’re 14 points clear of Real Madrid with three games to play.<\/p>\n

Rashford is on loan at Barcelona from Manchester United for the season and that was his 14th goal of the campaign in all competitions.<\/p>\n

His future is uncertain beyond this season, although he has made it clear he would really like to stay with the Catalan giants.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, he clearly still has good relations with some at Old Trafford, with Fernandes posting on Instagram: \u2018Congratulations my brother. You deserve that.\u2019<\/p>\n

Rashford\u2019s post read: \u2018What an evening \ud83e\udd29\ud83c\udfc6 Won El Cl\u00e1sico. Won the League. \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udc99 Special feeling. Visca el Bar\u00e7a!!\u2019<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old suggested that signing off with a trophy was the \u2018perfect way I need it to finish\u2019 at Barcelona, but has also made it clear that he wants a deal done to maintain him in Spain.<\/p>\n

\u2018That is the right way I need it to finish,\u2019 Rashford told ESPN<\/a>. \u2018I\u2019m very glad, I just need to enjoy today.<\/p>\n

\u2018I live within the moment. At the top of the\u00a0season\u00a0we’ll\u00a0see. I got here here to win and we\u00a0do\u00a0this, so\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0very glad. It\u2019s an incredible feeling.<\/p>\n

Asked if he would still be a Barcelona player come the beginning of next season, Rashford added: \u2018I don\u2019t know. I’m not a magician, but when I\u00a0was, I might stay. We’ll see. I got here here to win. I need to win as many things as I can.<\/p>\n

Speaking last month, interim Manchester United boss Michael Carrick left the door ajar for a Rashford return to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

\u2018There\u2019s decisions to be made on certain things, and clearly Marcus is in that situation,\u2019 said Carrick. \u2018But at this cut-off date, nothing\u2019s been decided.<\/p>\n

\u2018It’s going to be, since it must be at a certain point, but at this stage, there\u2019s nothing to say.\u2019<\/p>\n
