Vladimir Putin\u2019s former schoolteacher seemed leery of the Russian president while meeting with him for dinner.<\/p>\n

In a rigorously stage-managed meeting, Putin arrived at teacher Vera Gurevich\u2019s Moscow hotel to take her out for a meal.<\/p>\n

Upon seeing him, Gurevich, now 92, peered uncertainly at his face and asked him doubtfully: \u2018Is that you just?\u2019<\/p>\n

Putin smiled and replied: \u2018Yes, it\u2019s me. It\u2019s me.\u2019<\/p>\n

Her remarks have reignited questions over Putin\u2019s use of body doubles, something the Kremlin boss is thought to do for security reasons.<\/p>\n

Still, after the president seemingly confirmed his identity, Gurevich kissed him as he handed her a big bouquet.<\/p>\n

Putin\u2019s retired teacher, who taught him German, was bundled into the back of the Aurus and driven away for dinner within the Kremlin, escorted by security vehicles.<\/p>\n

Gurevich has previously revealed how, aged 16, Putin slaughtered a duck on a faculty trip before it was cooked for dinner.<\/p>\n

She said: \u2018He pulled a blanket over himself, covering his head completely. He said: \u2018Herald the unlucky one, lay her head in order that, without seeing her, I can sever her head with a single blow.\u2019<\/p>\n

She also revealed that as a schoolboy, Putin \u2018wasn\u2019t particularly enthusiastic about girls in any respect\u2019, and she or he had anticipated he would follow a quite different profession path.<\/p>\n

She said: \u2018Truthfully, I could never imagine that it\u2019d be Vladimir Putin who\u2019d grow to be president, head of our great state. He\u2019s a talented man, but I\u2019ve all the time thought he\u2019d make a lawyer.\u2019<\/p>\n

Western intelligence has found that paranoid Putin has grown increasingly concerned about security, and even lives and works in bunkers amid fears of a coup.<\/p>\n

The president has abandoned his favourite palaces, fearing they may very well be targets of drone strikes \u2013 potentially by his own entourage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The brand new evaluation, citing an unnamed Western intelligence agency, was first published by Russian news outlet Vital Stories.\u00a0<\/p>\n
