He was 29.<\/p>\n<p>Neither the\u00a0Grizzlies\u00a0nor Clarke\u2019s agency,\u00a0Priority Sports, immediately provided any details about when, where or how Clarke died. Clarke joined Morant on the\u00a0NBA\u2019s All-Rookie\u00a0team in 2020, and the Grizzlies gave him a\u00a0multiyear contract extension\u00a0in October 2022.<\/p>\n<p>He tore his left Achilles tendon March 3, 2023, in a loss to the Denver Nuggets in a showdown of the highest two teams within the Western Conference.
