A paediatrician is accused of sexually abusing and raping children while working at a German hospital. <\/p>\n
The 46-year-old doctor, from Brandenburg, who has not been named, carried out the alleged offences while on duty at a children\u2019s clinic in Rathenow, eastern Germany. <\/p>\n
He was working on the Havelland Clinic when the alleged offences occured spanning greater than a decade.<\/p>\n
The medic is accused of repeatedly abusing children between early December 2013 until his arrest in November 2025, the German tabloid Bild reports. <\/p>\n
He has been charged with 130 counts of sexual offences, including rape. <\/p>\n
His arrest got here after the alleged abuse of a toddler on the Rathenow clinic, while the kid was on the paediatric ward. <\/p>\n

The kid\u2019s mum is alleged to have filed a criticism against the doctor. <\/p>\n
Detectives carried out searches following the criticism. <\/p>\n
They’re said to have seized several hard drives allegedly containing incriminating material, resulting in prosecutors probing whether there have been further victims. <\/p>\n
The doctor was detained as a result of the danger of reoffending, in response to Bild.<\/p>\n
Havelland Clinics said in January it would perform a review of their safeguarding measures. <\/p>\n
It said the principle of getting two people present when a toddler is examined had allegedly been violated, resulting in an internal review. <\/p>\n
